Wound Care Management Training Successfully Conducted in Kelantan
Wound Care Management Training Successfully Conducted in Kelantan Ionic Global was honoured to participate in the Wound Care Management Training Programme held on 15 May 2026 at Klinik Sayyida, Wakaf Che Yeh, Kelantan. The programme was jointly organised by PERDIM, KDKS, and Ionic Global as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen clinical knowledge sharing, practical wound care awareness, and healthcare collaboration among medical practitioners. The training session took place from 8.30 AM to 1.00 PM and was attended by a total of 20 participants. Ionic Global was also honoured by the presence of Dr. Hanafi Yahya, Secretary of PERDIM, whose continuous support and commitment towards healthcare education and community medical development are deeply appreciated. The programme featured valuable clinical sharing sessions conducted by Dr. Clement Limus Apong, Wound Care Specialist, together with Monica Low, Medical Development Advisor of Ionic Global. Throughout the session, participants were exposed to practical approaches and current understanding in wound management, including diabetic wound care, wound healing progression, infection management, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, and proper wound assessment techniques. One of the key highlights of the programme was the practical demonstration session, which allowed participants to gain hands-on exposure and better understanding of wound care management techniques commonly encountered in clinics and healthcare settings. The interactive learning environment encouraged participants to exchange experiences, raise clinical questions, and discuss practical challenges faced during wound management processes. The programme received encouraging response and positive participation from attendees, reflecting the growing importance of continuous education and professional collaboration within the healthcare industry. Through initiatives such as this, healthcare practitioners are able to strengthen both theoretical understanding and practical confidence in delivering better wound care management to patients. During the session, Ionic Global also introduced its healthcare innovation platform, IGTech, together with Antaviro Wound Care solutions designed to support modern wound management practices. Antaviro Wound Care is developed to assist healthcare practitioners in supporting wound cleansing and creating a more favourable wound healing environment for patients. In clinical settings where chronic wounds, infection risks, and delayed healing remain ongoing concerns, proper wound management plays an important role in improving patient outcomes and quality of life. Ionic Global believes that continuous healthcare education, practical exposure, and responsible innovation are essential in supporting clinics and hospitals to enhance wound management standards and patient care experiences. The collaboration between PERDIM, KDKS, and Ionic Global reflects a shared commitment towards strengthening healthcare awareness, supporting healthcare professionals, and contributing to better healthcare accessibility and patient care within the community. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Clement for his valuable demonstrations and professional knowledge sharing throughout the session, as well as to all participating doctors for their precious time, active involvement, and continuous dedication towards enhancing wound care management practices for the benefit of patients and the wider healthcare community. Ionic Global remains committed to supporting more educational initiatives, clinical collaborations, and healthcare engagement activities in the future. Through continuous partnership and knowledge sharing, we hope to contribute towards a more informed, patient-focused, and progressive healthcare ecosystem for the benefit of both healthcare practitioners and the wider community.
