Advancing Community Healthcare Through Strategic PartnershipAdvancing Community Healthcare: Ionic Global Partners PERDIM to Elevate Wound Care Standards in MalaysiaAdvancing Community Healthcare Through Strategic Partnership

Ionic Global collaborates with PERDIM to promote wound care awareness, clinical education, and Antaviro HOCl-based antimicrobial solutions—advancing healthcare standards and community well-being in Malaysia. Advancing Community Healthcare Through Strategic CollaborationAt Ionic Global Sdn Bhd (IG), we believe that true progress begins with giving back to the communities we serve. Guided by this principle, we are honoured to mark a significant milestone on 25 April 2026 with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PERDIM (Pertubuhan Doktor-Doktor Islam Malaysia), representing approximately 1,200 private clinics nationwide. This strategic collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing community healthcare through structured Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. By combining clinical expertise, professional networks, and innovation-driven solutions, Ionic Global and PERDIM aim to strengthen awareness and adoption of proper wound care management—an essential component in improving patient outcomes yet often underemphasised at the community level.Central to this partnership is a focus on education, training, and the development of more consistent, evidence-informed practices. Through targeted programmes, practitioner engagement, and knowledge-sharing platforms, both parties seek to enhance clinical understanding while empowering healthcare providers with practical approaches to wound care that prioritise safety, effectiveness, and patient well-being. Supporting these efforts is Ionic Global’s continued advancement in antimicrobial wound hygiene, particularly through the application of hypochlorous acid (HOCl) technology. Recognised in scientific literature as a naturally occurring antimicrobial agent involved in the body’s innate immune response, HOCl demonstrates broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against common wound pathogens. At controlled concentrations, it has been associated with rapid microbial reduction under appropriate conditions, while maintaining favourable tissue compatibility and low cytotoxicity—key considerations in preserving viable tissue during the healing process. As the key active component in Antaviro Wound Care, IGTech Antimicrobial Solution—powered by hypochlorous acid (HOCl)—is designed to support hygienic wound environments by contributing to microbial load management and helping to mitigate biofilm-prone conditions, which are commonly associated with delayed healing. This approach aligns with contemporary wound care principles that emphasise maintaining a balanced wound environment to support natural healing progression. Within the context of this collaboration, both Ionic Global and PERDIM will work towards building a growing body of clinical insights through practitioner feedback, observational data, and structured engagement initiatives. These efforts are complemented by awareness campaigns and training sessions aimed at improving sensitivity, consistency, and confidence in wound care practices. By leveraging PERDIM’s extensive professional network and communication platforms, the collaboration seeks to extend its impact beyond clinical settings and into the broader community. The MOU signing took place during PERDIM’s Annual Raya celebration, where Ionic Global was represented by Director, Mr. Baharinshah Hussain, alongside Business Development Advisor, Mdm Monica Low. In conjunction with the celebration, Ionic Global also presented 10 Raya gift hampers featuring Antaviro Wound Care and the Ombac+ product series—including Instant Hygiene Spray, Feminine Care, Men Care, and Fur Fur Pet Care—as a gesture of appreciation to the medical community for their continued dedication and service. This partnership represents more than a formal agreement—it reflects a shared purpose to contribute meaningfully to healthcare development in Malaysia. Through collaboration, continuous learning, and responsible innovation, Ionic Global remains committed to supporting improved clinical practices, enhancing patient care, and fostering a more informed and resilient healthcare ecosystem. As we move forward, we look to this collaboration as a foundation for long-term impact—one that brings together science, care, and community to shape a healthier future for all.

Advancing Clinical Excellence in Wound Care: Ionic Global’s Commitment Through Education and Innovation

Advancing Clinical Excellence in Wound Care: Ionic Global’s Commitment Through Education and Innovation At Ionic Global Sdn Bhd, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is anchored in the belief that sustainable healthcare advancement is driven by both scientific innovation and knowledge dissemination. As part of this commitment, we were honoured to collaborate with the Pharmaceutical Society of AIMST (PharmSA) and AIMST University in the First Aid & Wound Care Workshop 2026, an initiative designed to equip future healthcare professionals with clinically relevant competencies in wound management. The workshop brought together more than 60 graduating pharmacists and healthcare students, highlighting the increasing importance of evidence-based wound care in modern clinical settings. Effective wound management today requires an integrated understanding of microbial control, tissue viability, inflammatory response, and the optimisation of the wound healing microenvironment. Our Business Development Advisor, Mdm Monica, a professional Pharmacist and HRD Corp Certified Trainer, was invited as a speaker to deliver a technical session on “Wound Care Basics and Practice for Pharmacists.” The session focused on bridging theoretical knowledge with clinical application, including structured wound assessment, risk stratification, infection control strategies, and the selection of appropriate therapeutic agents that balance antimicrobial efficacy with tissue preservation. Advancing Wound Care with Stabilised High-Purity HOCl (IGTECH)As the Platinum Sponsor, Ionic Global further contributed through a technical presentation by our Medical Science Support team, focusing on the clinical application of Antaviro Wound Care, a stabilised high-purity hypochlorous acid (HOCl) solution developed under proprietary IGTECH technology.Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is an endogenous molecule produced by neutrophils as part of the innate immune response, recognised for its rapid and broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against bacteria, viruses, and fungi. In wound care, HOCl plays a critical role in reducing microbial burden while supporting the physiological healing process. However, not all HOCl formulations are equivalent. Conventional or non-stabilised HOCl solutions may face limitations such as:• Reduced stability over time• Variability in active chlorine concentration• Decreased efficacy in the presence of organic matter• Potential inconsistency in clinical performanceIGTECH Differentiation: Stability, Purity, and Clinical PerformanceAntaviro Wound Care, powered by IGTECH, is designed to address these limitations through:• High Purity & Controlled CompositionEnsuring consistent availability of active HOCl species for reliable antimicrobial action.• Stabilised FormulationMaintaining efficacy over time, with improved resistance to degradation and environmental factors.• Rapid Antimicrobial ActivitySupporting effective microbial reduction, contributing to infection control in wound environments.• Biocompatibility & Tissue SafetyNon-cytotoxic profile that supports viable tissue, minimising disruption to the natural healing cascade.• No Residue & Gentle ApplicationSuitable for repeated use across a wide range of wound types, including sensitive or compromised tissue.Clinical Relevance in Modern Wound ManagementThe session emphasised the importance of integrating stabilised HOCl solutions into contemporary wound care protocols, particularly in:• Chronic and hard-to-heal wounds• Infection-prone environments• Situations requiring frequent wound cleansing and irrigation• Patients with sensitive or compromised skin integrityBy balancing antimicrobial efficacy with tissue compatibility, stabilised high-purity HOCl offers a clinically aligned approach that supports both infection control and optimal healing progression. CSR Through Knowledge, Science, and Future Healthcare Development At Ionic Global, we recognise that impactful CSR is not limited to contribution, but extends to capacity building within the healthcare ecosystem. By engaging with academic institutions and future professionals, we aim to:• Promote evidence-based clinical practices• Enhance awareness of advanced wound care technologies• Support the development of competent and informed healthcare practitionersThrough such initiatives, we reaffirm our commitment to advancing healthcare standards through the integration of science, safety, and innovation. We extend our sincere appreciation to PharmSA and AIMST University for the opportunity and warm hospitality. We also acknowledge the dedication of our advisor and team members, whose contributions made this engagement both meaningful and impactful.A Gentle Touch of Care: Supporting Stray Animals with Compassion and ProtectionAt Ionic Global Sdn Bhd, we believe that care should extend beyond boundaries—beyond clinics, beyond patients, and into the lives that often go unseen and unheard. In many shelters, rescued animals arrive with difficult pasts—abandoned, injured, or neglected. While they are given a second chance through rescue, their journey towards healing is not always immediate. In environments where many animals are cared for together, maintaining hygiene and preventing infections becomes an ongoing challenge. Yet, these small, everyday needs—clean skin, comfort, and protection—are essential in helping them recover, both physically and emotionally, as they wait for a place to call home. With this in mind, Ionic Global is grateful to have contributed Ombac+ Fur-Fur Spray & Comfort to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Haiwan Selangor (Homesland Animal Shelter). While the gesture may be simple, the intention behind it is deeply meaningful—to support the daily care routines that bring comfort, cleanliness, and protection to these rescued animals.Formulated as a gentle antimicrobial solution, Ombac+ Fur-Fur Spray & Comfort helps reduce microbial presence on the skin and fur while remaining safe for frequent use, even for animals with sensitive conditions. In a shelter environment, where consistent hygiene is vital, such support contributes to a cleaner, safer, and more comfortable space—helping to minimise irritation, reduce odour, and support overall well-being.Beyond the product itself, this contribution is a reflection of something larger—the belief that small acts of care can create meaningful change. Every moment of comfort given to these animals is a step closer to their recovery. Every improvement in their condition increases their chance of finding a loving, permanent home.We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated team and volunteers at HomeslandAnimal Shelter, whose tireless efforts embody compassion in its purest form. Their daily commitment to protecting, nurturing, and advocating for these animals is both inspiring and deeply valued. At Ionic Global, we remain committed to supporting communities through responsible innovation—whether in healthcare or in the lives of animals who depend on kindness and care. Because in the end, making a difference does not always require grand gestures; sometimes, it begins with something as simple as care, given gently and consistently.Together, we continue to care, support, and make a difference—one paw at a time. 🐾
