Proudly Pioneering Wound Care Evidence in Malaysian Primary Care

Proudly Pioneering Wound Care Evidence in Malaysian Primary Care Ionic Global is honoured to collaborate with PERDIM in launching Malaysia’s first GP-led wound care case study initiative, marking an important milestone in strengthening wound care awareness, practical clinical education, and evidence-based healthcare development within Malaysian primary care settings. This 8-week case study programme involves participating General Practitioners (GPs) from Melaka, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Terengganu, and Kelantan, bringing together healthcare practitioners from different regions to collectively contribute towards real-world wound care observation, patient case documentation, and clinical experience sharing. The initiative reflects a shared commitment between PERDIM and Ionic Global to encourage stronger clinical engagement, practical learning, and continuous healthcare improvement in the field of wound management. As wound-related complications continue to affect many patients, especially in cases involving diabetic wounds, chronic ulcers, post-procedure wounds, and infection-related conditions, the importance of practical wound care understanding within primary care clinics continues to grow significantly. Traditionally, advanced wound care discussions and evidence collection have often been concentrated within hospital environments or specialist settings. However, primary care clinics remain one of the earliest and most important healthcare touchpoints for patients seeking treatment and wound management support. Through this GP-led initiative, participating clinics are able to contribute valuable real-world observations and practical insights that may further strengthen future wound care understanding in community healthcare environments. The programme also encourages continuous clinical collaboration, case-sharing, and practical discussions among healthcare practitioners while supporting more structured documentation and monitoring of wound healing progression over the 8-week duration. As part of the initiative, Ionic Global also supports participating practitioners through healthcare education and product awareness involving IGTech and Antaviro Wound Care solutions. Developed with a focus on modern wound management environments, Antaviro Wound Care is designed to support wound cleansing and create a more favourable wound healing environment for patients within clinics and healthcare settings. By combining practical case studies, healthcare education, and responsible innovation, Ionic Global hopes to contribute towards better wound care awareness, stronger clinical confidence, and improved patient care experiences across Malaysian primary healthcare communities. This initiative represents more than a case study programme — it reflects a growing movement towards collaborative healthcare development, where doctors, healthcare organisations, and industry partners work together to strengthen evidence-informed wound care practices for the benefit of both healthcare practitioners and patients. Ionic Global would like to express our sincere appreciation to PERDIM and all participating doctors for their dedication, professional commitment, and willingness to contribute towards advancing wound care understanding within Malaysian primary care practice. Together, we look forward to shaping a more informed, collaborative, and patient-centred future for wound care management in Malaysia.

Antaviro Wound Care Offically Listed in MIMS Malaysia — Advancing Clinical Practice and Community Care

Antaviro Wound Care Offically Listed in MIMS Malaysia — Advancing Clinical Practice and Community Care Ionic Global is pleased to share that Antaviro Wound Care Dressing Solution has been officially listed in the MIMS Drug Reference Malaysia (March 2026 Issue, pg. 325) under Surgical Dressings & Wound Care. This milestone reflects increasing clinical recognition of hypochlorous acid (HOCl)–based solutions in modern wound management. Clinical Relevance in Wound Management Effective wound healing begins with proper wound bed preparation. One of the key challenges faced by healthcare professionals is the presence of biofilm, microbial load, and necrotic debris, which can significantly delay healing and increase the risk of infection. Antaviro Wound Care is formulated with Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl), offering: Broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity Effective removal of debris and microorganisms Support for biofilm and slough disruption Tissue-compatible, non-cytotoxic wound cleansing Its mechanism aligns with current wound care principles — creating a clean wound environment to support healing progression and improve clinical outcomes. Antaviro is suitable for: Acute wounds Chronic wounds (e.g., diabetic ulcers, pressure injuries) Infected or high-risk wounds From Clinical Application to Real-World Impact Beyond clinical settings, Antaviro has also been deployed in community care initiatives, where timely and effective wound management is critical. CSR Case: Supporting Flood-Affected Patients in Hatyai During a recent flood relief initiative, Ionic Global partnered with local organisations to provide Antaviro Wound Care to patients suffering from untreated and infection-prone wounds due to prolonged exposure to contaminated water. Before Many patients presented with: Contaminated wounds with visible debris Signs of microbial burden and early infection Delayed access to proper wound cleansing solutions Without early intervention, these conditions could escalate into more serious complications. After (With Wound Cleansing Support) With consistent use of Antaviro as part of wound cleansing: Wound beds were visibly cleaner Reduction in debris and surface contaminants Improved conditions for subsequent wound care management Better tolerance due to non-irritating formulation While Antaviro is not a standalone treatment, its role in initial wound cleansing and preparation proved valuable in supporting frontline care efforts. Bridging Clinical Science and Community Needs The inclusion of Antaviro in MIMS not only reflects its clinical relevance, but also reinforces Ionic Global’s commitment to delivering solutions that extend beyond hospitals into real-world care environments. As the demand for safe, effective, and tissue-friendly antimicrobial solutions continues to grow, HOCl-based technologies like Antaviro are becoming increasingly important in both clinical protocols and humanitarian applications. Looking Forward Ionic Global remains dedicated to advancing wound care through: Science-driven formulation Clinical alignment Meaningful community impact Antaviro Wound Care — Supporting Better Healing, From Clinics to Communities.

Ombac+ Ultron: Redefining Surface Protection with a New Look and Advanced HOCl Technology

Ombac+ Ultron: Redefining Surface Protection with a New Look and Advanced HOCl Technology In today’s environment, where infectious diseases continue to evolve and spread across communities, the importance of effective surface hygiene has never been more critical. From healthcare facilities to homes and public spaces, environmental surfaces serve as key transmission points for pathogens, making reliable disinfection an essential part of daily protection. At Ionic Global Sdn Bhd, we are proud to introduce the refreshed Ombac+ Ultron—now presented in a new, modern packaging that reflects not only a renewed visual identity, but also our continued commitment to innovation, safety, and performance in antimicrobial solutions. Powered by IGTECH HOCl: Science-Driven Protection At the core of Ombac+ Ultron lies stabilised high-purity hypochlorous acid (HOCl), developed through proprietary IGTECH technology. HOCl is a naturally occurring molecule produced by the human immune system, widely recognised for its powerful antimicrobial action against bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Scientific and clinical evidence has consistently demonstrated that HOCl is one of the most effective and safest disinfectants available today. It offers broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity and has been shown to effectively inactivate a wide range of pathogens, including emerging infectious agents such as SARS-CoV-2 . Its mechanism of action targets multiple sites within microorganisms, reducing the likelihood of resistance while ensuring rapid microbial inactivation . Responding to a Changing Disease Landscape In recent years, global awareness of infectious diseases has significantly increased, driven by pandemics, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and the rising incidence of hospital- and community-acquired infections. Environmental surfaces have been identified as critical vectors in the transmission chain, particularly in high-contact areas such as clinics, workplaces, and public facilities. This evolving landscape calls for disinfectants that are not only effective, but also safe for frequent and widespread use. Traditional disinfectants, while potent, may carry limitations such as toxicity, skin irritation, or environmental concerns. In contrast, HOCl-based solutions offer a balanced approach—combining high antimicrobial efficacy with excellent safety and biocompatibility. Ombac+ Ultron: Powerful Yet Gentle Ombac+ Ultron is designed to meet the demands of modern hygiene practices through a formulation that is both strong against pathogens and safe for everyday use. • 99.99% antimicrobial performance• Alcohol-free and non-toxic, suitable for frequent application• Gentle on skin and surfaces, reducing irritation risks• No harmful residue, supporting safe continuous use• Versatile application across homes, clinics, industries, and public environments By leveraging IGTECH, Ombac+ Ultron ensures a stable and high-purity HOCl formulation, delivering consistent and reliable performance even in demanding environments. This makes it particularly suitable for routine disinfection in settings where both safety and efficacy are paramount. Bridging Safety and Effectiveness in Everyday Hygiene The role of surface disinfection is no longer confined to healthcare settings—it is now an integral part of everyday life. Whether in homes, offices, clinics, or shared public spaces, maintaining clean and hygienic environments contributes significantly to reducing infection risks and protecting overall well-being. Ombac+ Ultron is developed with this reality in mind—providing a solution that empowers users to maintain high hygiene standards without compromising safety. Its gentle yet effective formulation supports frequent use, making it an ideal choice for both professional and personal environments. A New Look, A Continued Commitment The new packaging of Ombac+ Ultron represents more than a visual refresh—it reflects Ionic Global’s forward-looking approach in delivering solutions that are scientifically grounded, user-friendly, and aligned with modern healthcare needs. As part of our broader mission, Ionic Global remains committed to advancing antimicrobial technologies that support safer environments, reduce infection risks, and contribute to improved public health outcomes. In a world where hygiene is no longer optional but essential, Ombac+ Ultron stands as a reliable partner in daily protection. Powered by IGTECH HOCl, it embodies the balance between science and safety, strength and gentleness—delivering effective surface disinfection for today’s evolving needs.
