Ionic Global Participates in Wound Care Management Training Program in Melaka
On 17 May 2026, Ionic Global was honoured to participate in the Wound Care Management Training Program organized in collaboration with PERDIM at Klinik Zairah, Alor Gajah, Melaka. The program brought together healthcare professionals from various clinical backgrounds for a comprehensive educational session focused on enhancing knowledge, clinical skills, and best practices in wound care management.
As wound care continues to play a critical role in improving patient outcomes and quality of life, the program served as a valuable platform for healthcare practitioners to exchange knowledge, discuss real-world clinical experiences, and explore innovative approaches to wound management. Through a combination of presentations, case discussions, and practical demonstrations, participants gained deeper insights into evidence-based wound care practices and the importance of selecting appropriate wound care solutions to support the healing process.
The programme featured several key learning segments, including an introduction to wound care management principles, an overview of Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) technology, clinical case presentations, and a hands-on wound dressing demonstration. These sessions were designed to bridge the gap between theory and clinical practice, enabling participants to better understand the challenges and opportunities in modern wound care.
The educational sessions were led by distinguished speakers, including Dr. Clement Limus Apong, Wound Care Specialist, and Mdm Monica Low, Business Development Director of Ionic Global. Their combined expertise provided participants with valuable perspectives on wound assessment, infection management, clinical decision-making, and the practical application of advanced wound care solutions in various healthcare settings.
Ionic Global would like to express its heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Clement Limus Apong and Mdm Monica Low for their dedication, expertise, and generous contribution of time and effort in making this programme a success. Their commitment to professional education and passion for improving wound care practices played a pivotal role in delivering a meaningful learning experience for all participants.
