Advancing Community Healthcare Through Strategic PartnershipAdvancing Community Healthcare: Ionic Global Partners PERDIM to Elevate Wound Care Standards in MalaysiaAdvancing Community Healthcare Through Strategic Partnership

Ionic Global collaborates with PERDIM to promote wound care awareness, clinical education, and Antaviro HOCl-based antimicrobial solutions—advancing healthcare standards and community well-being in Malaysia. Advancing Community Healthcare Through Strategic Collaboration At Ionic Global Sdn Bhd (IG), we believe that true progress begins with giving back to the communities we serve. Guided by this principle, we are honoured to mark a significant milestone on 25 April 2026 with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PERDIM (Pertubuhan Doktor-Doktor Islam Malaysia), representing approximately 1,200 private clinics nationwide. This strategic collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing community healthcare through structured Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. By combining clinical expertise, professional networks, and innovation-driven solutions, Ionic Global and PERDIM aim to strengthen awareness and adoption of proper wound care management—an essential component in improving patient outcomes yet often underemphasised at the community level. Central to this partnership is a focus on education, training, and the development of more consistent, evidence-informed practices. Through targeted programmes, practitioner engagement, and knowledge-sharing platforms, both parties seek to enhance clinical understanding while empowering healthcare providers with practical approaches to wound care that prioritise safety, effectiveness, and patient well-being. Supporting these efforts is Ionic Global’s continued advancement in antimicrobial wound hygiene, particularly through the application of hypochlorous acid (HOCl) technology. Recognised in scientific literature as a naturally occurring antimicrobial agent involved in the body’s innate immune response, HOCl demonstrates broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against common wound pathogens. At controlled concentrations, it has been associated with rapid microbial reduction under appropriate conditions, while maintaining favourable tissue compatibility and low cytotoxicity—key considerations in preserving viable tissue during the healing process. As the key active component in Antaviro Wound Care, IGTech Antimicrobial Solution—powered by hypochlorous acid (HOCl)—is designed to support hygienic wound environments by contributing to microbial load management and helping to mitigate biofilm-prone conditions, which are commonly associated with delayed healing. This approach aligns with contemporary wound care principles that emphasise maintaining a balanced wound environment to support natural healing progression. Within the context of this collaboration, both Ionic Global and PERDIM will work towards building a growing body of clinical insights through practitioner feedback, observational data, and structured engagement initiatives. These efforts are complemented by awareness campaigns and training sessions aimed at improving sensitivity, consistency, and confidence in wound care practices. By leveraging PERDIM’s extensive professional network and communication platforms, the collaboration seeks to extend its impact beyond clinical settings and into the broader community. The MOU signing took place during PERDIM’s Annual Raya celebration, where Ionic Global was represented by Director, Mr. Baharinshah Hussain, alongside Business Development Advisor, Mdm Monica Low. In conjunction with the celebration, Ionic Global also presented 10 Raya gift hampers featuring Antaviro Wound Care and the Ombac+ product series—including Instant Hygiene Spray, Feminine Care, Men Care, and Fur Fur Pet Care—as a gesture of appreciation to the medical community for their continued dedication and service. This partnership represents more than a formal agreement—it reflects a shared purpose to contribute meaningfully to healthcare development in Malaysia. Through collaboration, continuous learning, and responsible innovation, Ionic Global remains committed to supporting improved clinical practices, enhancing patient care, and fostering a more informed and resilient healthcare ecosystem. As we move forward, we look to this collaboration as a foundation for long-term impact—one that brings together science, care, and community to shape a healthier future for all.

Ionic Global at Amazing Clinic Program 2026: Advancing Clinical Practice Through Innovation and Engagement

Ionic Global at Amazing Clinic Program 2026: Advancing Clinical Practice Through Innovation and Engagement Ionic Global Sdn Bhd was honoured to participate as an exhibitor at the Amazing Clinic Program 2026, organised by Pertubuhan Doktor-Doktor Islam Malaysia (PERDIM), held on 4 March 2026 at Royale Chulan Damansara. The event brought together a wide spectrum of healthcare professionals, clinic owners, and medical practitioners from across Malaysia, providing a meaningful platform for professional exchange, clinical discussions, and knowledge sharing aimed at enhancing patient care and healthcare delivery. Participation in this program reflects Ionic Global’s ongoing commitment to engaging with the medical community and contributing to the advancement of evidence-based clinical practices. As healthcare continues to evolve, such platforms play an essential role in bridging scientific innovation with real-world application, enabling practitioners to stay informed of emerging solutions and approaches in patient management. During the exhibition, Ionic Global showcased Antaviro Wound Care, an advanced antimicrobial wound management solution developed with proprietary IGTECH technology. At the core of Antaviro is stabilised high-purity hypochlorous acid (HOCl), a biomimetic molecule naturally produced by the human immune system and widely recognised for its rapid and broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties. In modern wound care, the role of HOCl extends beyond microbial reduction—it contributes to maintaining a balanced wound environment that supports the natural healing process while minimising tissue irritation. Through IGTECH, Antaviro Wound Care is engineered to deliver a controlled, stable, and high-purity HOCl formulation, addressing common limitations associated with conventional solutions such as instability, reduced efficacy, and inconsistency in performance. This enables reliable antimicrobial action while maintaining excellent biocompatibility, making it suitable for repeated application across a wide range of wound types, including sensitive and infection-prone conditions. By balancing efficacy with tissue safety, Antaviro aligns with the growing clinical demand for solutions that support both infection control and optimal healing outcomes. The event also provided an opportunity for Ionic Global’s team to engage directly with healthcare practitioners, exchanging insights on current clinical challenges and sharing practical applications of Antaviro Wound Care in everyday practice. These interactions are invaluable in ensuring that our solutions remain relevant, effective, and responsive to the needs of front-line medical professionals. Ionic Global extends its sincere appreciation to our Director, En. Baharin, and our Advisor, Mdm Monica, for their leadership, guidance, and continuous support. Their commitment has been instrumental in enabling our team to effectively communicate the clinical value and scientific foundation of our solutions to the healthcare community. As part of our broader mission, Ionic Global remains dedicated to collaborating with healthcare organisations and professionals to promote innovative antimicrobial technologies that enhance patient safety, support effective wound management, and elevate clinical standards. Through continuous engagement, knowledge sharing, and technological advancement, we strive to contribute meaningfully to the future of healthcare in Malaysia and beyond.
